The Mission of BOMA Kansas City is to actively, and responsibly, promote and represent our members interests in the commercial real estate industry through advocacy, professional development and specialized services.

ABOUT US

The Building Owners and Managers Association of Metropolitan Kansas City (BOMA Kansas City) was established in 1926 as the trade association for the area’s office building industry. The Kansas City association is federated with the Building Owners and Managers Association International, headquartered in Washington, D.C. BOMA Kansas City is incorporated as a non-profit 501 (c) (6) organization, governed by a 13-person Board of Directors elected by the membership.

BOMA Kansas City is made up of the companies and individuals who own, manage, supply and provide services to the metropolitan area's commercial,corporate and government buildings. The association offers a year-round schedule of services, programs, and activities designed to support the professional development of its members, represent their common interests, and provides members with a means of
building and maintaining industry business relationships.

BOMA is the only commercial real estate organization advocating for the rights of property owners. Both BOMA International and BOMA Kansas City are very active at the national and state level on legislative and regulatory issues that impact members on a daily basis. Both have established enviable reputations for success.

Members of BOMA Kansas City are automatically members of BOMA International, and has the national group’s entire range of information, representation and educational services available to them. BOMA Kansas City also works with the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) to bring the group’s professional educational services to the Kansas City area.

BOMA International, represents 100 North American and nine overseas associations in Australia, Brazil, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, and South Africa. BOMA International, founded in 1907, represents a combined total of more than 8.5 billion square feet of office space.

BOMA Kansas City represents you; the owner, manager, supplier of goods and services, or the many others associated with insuring the health, safety, comfort, and productive work in commercial structures. We understand your problems and concerns, and strive to be your conduit to solid time and money savings so you can better serve your customers.
