Allied Committee

ALLIED COMMITTEE

The Allied Committee serves as the representative body for the Allied (vendor) members.  They create a supportive interaction between principal and allied members.  The committee plans and conducts at least three events (i.e. Spotlights and/or social) per year to encourage networking relationships.  Two members of the Allied Committee serve on the board of directors.  Allied Directors will bring the concerns and suggestions of the Allied members to the board.   The Committee will research projects needed in the community and develop plans to encourage the participation by the association, as well as, hold an annual meeting and recruit allied members to the committee. 

Chairperson Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the representative body for the Allied members creating a supportive interaction between principal and allied members.

 

  1. Plan for and schedule the coordination of at least three sponsored spotlight events to encourage networking relationships.

 

  1. Investigate all costs association with the tour.

 

  1. Work with the Social Committee for possible combined events.

 

  1. Two members of the Allied Committee will serve on the board of directors.

 

  1. To research commercial real estate issues in the community that may affect commercial real estate.

 

  1. Develop plans to encourage the participation by the association.

 

Goals:

 

  1. To provide spotlight tours of interest to the current and new members of the association.

 

  1. To provide quality projects that interests both the principal and allied members.

 

  1. Increase attendance at building tours working with the BAE advertising the events well in advance of the event date.

 

  1. Secure sponsors for each of the events.
