Walt Clements, CCIM, CRE, FRICS
Walt’s real estate career began in Michigan in 1971, he owned and operated “Clements Investment Realty”, until 1983, when he moved to Kansas City and managed a 40 person Commercial Real Estate Brokerage firm. . In 1990, he served as Senior Vice President and principal of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker (now Cassidy Turley) and was a consistent top producer. He became half owner of a development company that developed two mixed used projects and now serves as the Director of the Lewis White Real Estate Center in the Bloch School of Management at University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Gary Schlotzhaur, CEM CEA
Since 1996, Gary has served as the Director of Energy & Engineering for Kessinger Hunter & Company where he oversees the engineering and operations for approximately 23 million square feet of commercial real estate. In this capacity he coordinates the efforts of the engineering staff, and serves as in-house consultant on issues such as major repairs, energy efficiency, and a myriad of other operational issues.
Gary has a strong commitment to staff training and develops ongoing programs for the development of the engineering and property management staff. His joy in the sharing of knowledge and experience is extended beyond Kessinger Hunter by instructing other professionals such as BOMA, and is an accomplished public speaker.
As a certified energy professional, Gary aggressively pursues energy reductions through supply and demand side strategies and is routinely consulted by utility companies for collaboration on energy matters, and is a Past-President of the Kansas City chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers.
Gary’s skills and experience cover 30 years, which have immersed him in all phases of building operations, and has served the full spectrum of facilities, ranging from industrial, and retail to office buildings and health care facilities.
Before coming to Kessinger/Hunter, Gary served in various engineering/management capacities, including Director of Engineering and Operations for the Overland Park Regional Medical Center, and as President of Servicesource, Inc., an outsource provider of engineering services to the commercial real estate industry.
