Associate/Allied Members are individuals or entities who provide a product or service to the real estate industry. In addition to vendors and suppliers of real estate products and services, associate/allied members may also include companies/firms providing legal, accounting, engineering, banking, insurance, and architectural services.

BOMA KC maintains a ratio of at least 49% Principals | 51% Allieds. Due to that, there is a substantial waiting list to join BOMA KC. Principal Membership

$1,250 | $875

Principal/Additional Principal Members are individuals or entities (companies or corporations) involved in the ownership, management, leasing or development of real estate such as office, corporate, governmental, medical, educational, industrial, cultural/sporting, retail, financial, religious, hospitality, manufacturing, warehousing, multi-unit residential, and mixed use facilities. Owners, Investors, Developers, Brokers/Leasing Agents, Managers and Assistant Managers (Including but not limited to: Property; Building; Asset; Operations; Regional; General; Real Estate; Portfolio; and Facility),Building/Facility Engineers (Senior, Chief, Lead or other titles conveying similar function, status, authority, etc.) that are not contracted employees and are associated with a Principal Member in the management of real estate.

SPECIAL PRINCIPAL CATEGORIES

Academic Professionals

Those who instruct full or part time on a collegiate level in disciplines such as real estate, investment, development and facilities management and who are not employed by a Commercial Real Estate company, Owner, or entities that provide a product or service to the real estate industry. Membership is complimentary.

Emerging Professional

Individual with a Principal company that is under 40 and/or has less than 7 years of experience in the field. Scholarships may be available to participate on a complimentary basis for up to 2 years. 

Engineer | $425

Building/Facility Engineers and Maintenance Technicians with a Principal member company. Eligible to those not included in the definition of a Principal member.

Special Event Venue 

Property/Facility Manager of a venue that seats 15,000+ people for special events, sports, concerts, etc. Membership is complimentary.
